Ink Monkey Tattoo — Deposits & Gift Cards Policy
Overview
We use secure e‑cards through Square for both gift cards and deposits. Thank you for trusting Ink Monkey Tattoo, LLC with your next tattoo—we take that trust seriously and want you to have the best experience possible.
Important ID Requirement (Must Read)
- Even if you make a deposit or purchase a gift card, you must bring a valid, government‑issued photo ID to your appointment.
Gift Cards
- Valid for one year unless otherwise stated due to a seasonal promotion.
- Non‑refundable but transferable.
Deposits
- All deposits are non‑refundable; the deposit will be applied to the final price of your tattoo.
- Do not pay a deposit unless you have spoken with an artist. By paying a deposit, you agree to arrive on the date and at the time of your appointment.
- Deposits are non‑transferable.
- Minimum deposit: $50 for any custom drawing and/or appointment. Large pieces may require a $100 deposit.
- Deposit amounts are set by your artist, not by Ink Monkey Tattoo, LLC.
Scheduling and Rescheduling
- A $100 deposit indicates your artist has reserved a minimum of 4 hours for your tattoo. These appointments require 72 hours’ notice to reschedule.
- Appointments requiring a $50 deposit require 48 hours’ notice to reschedule.
- If required notice is not given, you will forfeit your deposit.
Design Changes for Custom Work
- Please provide at least one week’s notice for design changes.
- We’ll do our best to accommodate change requests up to 72 hours prior to your appointment; however, significant changes may require rescheduling.
- If you arrive and request major changes without prior notice, you may lose your appointment and your deposit.
Acknowledgment
We understand life happens and will try to work with you. Please remember we need time to fill your spot, and our artists and their families rely on the expected income from your appointment.
By electronically signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms above, including the requirement to present a valid photo ID at your appointment.
